A Few Beauty Tips to Fight Cellulite
Here’s the bottom line, and it isn’t pretty. More than 80 percent of women have
cellulite, those dimpled pockets of fat that most often accumulate in the thighs,
buttons, and hips.
We don’t know the exact reasons, but doctors believe cellulite may be nature’s way
of ensuring women have enough stored energy to bear children, which may explain
why even thin women or those who work out religiously still may have it. Biological
imperative or not most women can’t stand the sight of cellulite. American women
spend billions of dollars a year on slimming and cellulite fighting products and
procedures.
To fight cellulite, here are some options:
No-Needle Mesotherapy
Most effective so far. We deliver medications under the skin with laser and low
grade electric currents. These medications simulate the circulation, dissolve fat,
break the bands that cause the cottage cheese appearance and simulate skin rejuvenation.
Usually requires ten sessions over a six week period. Long term results are excellent
especially when combined with exercise, diet rich in fruits, vegetables, nuts, legumes
and whole grains and specially formulated vitamins with anti-oxidants, phytonutrients
and other rejuvenation products.
Creams
Many rub-on creams contain caffeine, which we use at Medisolare can constrict blood
vessels and draw moisture out of the skin, resulting in a temporary tightening effect.
They can take a few months to work, but they’re the cheapest option.
Endermologie
Mechanical massage devices consist of a vacuum hose and two rollers, which lift
and knead the skin. Life any other deep massage the treatment can be somewhat painful
depending on the level of suction. Not shown to have long term effects. Abou 14
treatments are recommend over a seven-week period follow by monthly maintenance
visits. Without follow up, cellulite reappears after one or two months.
Wraps
Use ingredients like seaweed extracts that penetrate more thoroughly because of
the spa wrap’s warmth and compressions. Experts say you’re loose, but it’s water,
not fat, and the effects only last until you’re hydrated again. Recommend for the
quick fix. You’ll lose about an inch of water, but it only works for a few hours.
Seaweed is diuretic, so muds and seaweeds will have similar effects. I guess good
for looking great for that Oscar party tonight.
Electric and Ultrasound Treatments
Developed in 1979, lonithermie, or electric shock treatment, combines thermal clay
and biologically active ingredients on the skin with electrical stimuli on the skin.
Ultrasounds have been used without much results. Physical therapists use these to
boost muscle tone, but there are no ling-term studies yet on the effectiveness for
treatment of cellulite.
Diet and Exercise
The cheapest and time-tested solution. Eat lots of fruits and vegetables. Jumping
rope is the best total body workout and burns 1,000 calories an hour. And don’t
forget those vitamins and supplements, especially with anti-oxidants.
Non-Surgical Face Lift: The New Option
As we grow older, strange things can happen to our faces. The skin becomes dryer.
Gravity causes it to droop. We notice age spots, sun spots, wrinkles, fine lines,
and small blood vessels that come to the surface, making us look older than we feel.
Until recently people have had two options in their quest o maintain youthful beauty.
The first was to attempt reversing the effects of time with anti-aging creams. The
second was to resort to a surgical face life – a painful, expensive, dangerous,
often deadly procedure that has many side effects.
Thanks to modern medicine and technologies, Dr. Garg offers hope to his patients
through the use of new, non-invasive options. They range from laser treatments,
which remove blemishes from the face and stimulate elastin and collagen productions,
to microderm-abrasion. Other modalities are Thermassage, Ultrasound, Electric Wave
Therapy, and Infra-Red Treatment.
The Medisolare option – non-surgical facelift – is unique. It combines three functions.
First is laser treatment to remove blemishes from the past. Second is Mesotherapy,
which ads rejuvenation medications such as Retin-A, Vitamin C Ester, and sometimes
Glycolic Acid, all of which help renew the skin. The third component of his comprehensive
treatment is an anti-aging protocol, which makes the body function better. With
improved body functions, the first two steps have more successful results.
The anti-aging protocol – called Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement therapy – begins
with blood and saliva tests. Based on test results, a special combination of estrogens,
testosterone, progesterone, and other components are blended into a cream which
is applied topically once a day.
Dr. Garg says, “In the long-term, this treatment is preferred because while plastic
surgery might create a one-time change, it doesn’t make the skin function better.
That’s what we do at the center.”
If you want your friends to look at you and say, “What’s different? You’re looking
great!” a visit to Medisolare Wellness and Cosmetic Center might be just what the
doctor ordered.
What’s New at the Center? No-Needle Mesotherapy
Medisolare is committed to using the most effective, cutting-edge technologies to
treat our patients. Recently, technologically advanced equipment, which eliminates
cellulite without the use of needles, was installed at the center.
This new No-Needle Mesotherapy equipment uses pulses of electrical and radio waves
to simulate tissue activities, resulting in the reduction of cellulite. Its use
is preferred for individuals who have low pain thresholds. This new technology increases
the effectiveness of each treatment and shortens the time between treatments as
well.
No-Needle Mesotherapy allows larger areas to be treated during each session so patients
require fewer treatments. His non-invasive procedure eliminates bruising and/or
swelling so patients can leave the treatment session and immediately resume heir
normal daily activities with no discomfort. It is the ultimate in contemporary Mesotherapy
Treatment.
Hate Your Love Handles?
How did those little accumulations of far sneak into your life anyway? For most
people – women and men alike – genetics is the determining factor. For some, the
unwanted accumulations show up on their hips or thighs. For others it is found on
their abdomens – or on their buttocks, those little bits of extra baggage are something
we’d like to get rid of, but dieting or exercising alone can’t target specific problem
areas.
Fat is made up of fat cells – some 30 to 35 billion of them in the average individual
– which store and release fat. They are similar to tiny sponges plastered all over
our bodies, getting bigger as they collect fat, and shrinking as far is release.
To reduce specific areas of body fat, many people resort to Liposuction, a surgical
process which can be dangerous – even deadly.
Mesotherapy is a safe, non-surgical alternative developed in France over half a
century ago. This treatment is performed with micro-injectiosn of a special blend
of vitamins and pharmaceuticals inserted into the mesoderm, the middle layer of
skin. This scientific blend stimulates fat cells causing them to shrink in the designated
areas.
Mesotherapy – and the new No-Needle Mesotherapy technique also described in this
newletter – can eliminate far, cellulite, improve skin tone, and decrease wrinkles.
It has proven successful in treating thousands of patients, including celebrities
such as Roberta Flack. Miss Flack told 48 Hours reporters that, after years of unsuccessful
dieting and exercising, she had lost 40 pounds through Mesotherapy Treatment.
“I now have a waist line,” said Flack. “I now have a reasonably flat tummy.”
Dr. Garg, a leading specialist in Mesotherapy and the first to offer this treatment
in Jacksonville, performs both methods of Mesotherapy at the center. As the most
experienced local service provided, you are assured of the best possible results.

– except your love handles?
